Privacy policy
How EventScope handles your data. This summarises the behaviour implemented in the application; see also our account-level privacy controls.
What we store
- Account: your name, email, city, country, digest frequency, and consent flags.
- Activity: category subscriptions, digest delivery history, and account audit events.
- Analytics: aggregate usage statistics. IP addresses are stored hashed or anonymised (never in raw form in ordinary views).
Your rights (GDPR)
- Access / portability — download a JSON copy of your data at your account → Privacy.
- Erasure — anonymise your account at your account → Privacy. Your identity is scrubbed and subscriptions removed; required audit records are retained in anonymised form.
- Rectification — update your profile and preferences at any time.
- Consent — manage cookie and privacy consent from your account.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a consent cookie to remember your choice. No third-party advertising cookies are set.
Digest emails include a one-click unsubscribe link and a preference-management link, both using signed, expiring tokens that do not expose your identity.
